 Lions
*In this untouched Savannah live more than 35 species of mammals. The most attractive here are lions. Leo rarely pursues daytime watchful antelopes, which are able to run much faster than him. He waits until the nightfall .Then one after the other lionesses silently sink into darkness and the surrounding herd. Fearsome screams of frightened men run after animals to where they are expected lionesses. When fishing for zebras and antelopes sufficient lions are fed almost exclusively with them. Predator eats two or three times during the day but is capable of withstanding without food for several weeks. Other residents of the Serengeti are zebras, antelopes, rhinos, hyenas, baboons, elephants and buffalo. Furthermore we live over 500 different species of birds, some of which are not found anywhere in the world already.
 Tanzania Serengeti
*Perhaps the biggest attraction for tourists here is the period when the animals migrate away from 800 km for the May dry period. Nearly 2 million mammals embark on a long time to return again in December. Rare and mainly low vegetation does help those who want to monitor the flow of animals extremely easy.

 Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu in Peru is 2,300 meters above sea level and 112 km from Cusco, at the foot of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is believed that Machu Picchu was part of a large complex of fortresses, which the Incas used to protect against attacks of Indians living in the jungle. The city is divided into four parts. Northwest is located in the area, which was probably used for religious purposes. That there are so called: Sacred Square and Temple of the “three window“, “Sacred Temple“, “Mansion on the priests” .There is also a solar laboratory, which allowed the Incas to determine the seasons and time in the shadows thrown by the sun on the rocks. It is assumed that the largest residential buildings were built in the northeastern part of the complex. The Watchtower along with other buildings located in the southwest. Southeast of the complex were the smallest and most modest buildings built along narrow streets . At the bottom of the terraces the tomb in which during the excavations were found 135 skeletons and 109 of them were identified as female. This leads the researchers to believe that people of Machu Picchu were mostly women who chose Inca and hid in the city, unknown to the Spanish conquerors. The ancient fortress of the Incas was discovered accidentally in 1911 and has since been subject to historical and archaeological interpretations. It continues to stir the curiosity of scientists.
 Views from Machu Picchu
American archaeologist Hiram Bingam ancient city discovered during an expedition organized by the prestigious Yale University. There are different hypotheses about the basic functions of the city and how the Incas built it as the area is inaccessible.According to Machu Picchu was the safest refuge of the Incas. Here Manco Inca defeated and his people fled the capital after a siege of Cuzco in 1536 after a failed uprising against the Spanish conquerors of the Incas. The strategic position of Machu Picchu, however, served as the basis for another very popular hypothesis. According to her “castle” served as a security guard and was used by the Incas as a symbol of their dominant position in the Amazon region near Cuzco. This explains much of the scenes depicting clashes between troops of the Inca and ordinary soldiers, called “chunchos” – inhabitants of the jungle. These scenes are depicted on lacquered wooden bowls made by the Incas. For some, however, Machu Picchu was an important religious center.
That is where the Incas could be closest to the gods and even to touch them. Even today no one can solve the mystery how the builders and architects were able to transport to the top of the mountain huge blocks of limestone required for the erection of the city.

 Stonehenge
Stonehenge is the most famous megalithic monument in the world. It was built around 5000 years ago. Its construction has a religious character and is associated with summer solstice. The ruins of this unique facility are located 130 km. southwest of London-on Salisbury Plain. It existed there before the fall of Troy.

Stonehenge has been examined by dozens of scientists. The joint efforts of historians, archaeologists, geologists, anthropologists, chemists, engineers did not lead to answers to how, when and what was built giant stone on Salisbury Plain. They left these questions without answer. Visitors are curious about the purpose of this monument .There are no inscriptions on them or some kind of clues. There is nothing which will tell something about the origin or at least to give some direction for further research. Stonehenge is so old that even in ancient times its true history has been forgotten. Greek and Roman authors barely mention it. When the Romans came to Britain, Stonehenge was not impressed them. Rome had its beautiful temples and Egypt – the majestic pyramids are in good condition unlike that group, “hewn stone.” Stonehenge is composed of four stone circles. The outer is a vertically placed poles , each of which lies a flat stone, joined with other tables in a circle. Each pillar weighs on average about 25 tons, and the plates are 700 kg. The second round consists of relatively small single stones .Each group consists of two vertical plates, weighing 40 tons, on which is placed in a horizontal slab. By giant stone blocks our distant ancestors built stone piazza, enclosed in a circle. The entire facility is enclosed in a huge earth shaft surrounded by a moat, which has remained until today. And all this carefully and geometrically precise proportion recorded in the area of peaceful landscapes. The researchers found that these stone blocks were delivered to Salisbury 380 km away, where is the nearest quarry (south Wales). Even today, we will need special equipment, healthy eyes overload trucks and platforms, giant cranes and ways to move such weights, and three thousand such things was not.
